Gujarat CM makes allocation for widening of roads

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has given directions to the road building department to widen the roads to make the roads with heavy traffic in the state easier, safer and faster to facilitate high level of service.
For this purpose, he has sanctioned ₹ 1646.44 crore for making 203.41 km length of 21 roads four lane.
To make 221.45 km long 15 roads 10 meters wide at a cost of Rs. 580.16 crore and 25 roads of 388.89 km length 7 meters wide, the Chief Minister has approved Rs. 768.72 crore.
A total of 813.75 km length of 61 roads across the state are to be widened to 7m, 10m and four lane, for which the cost of Rs. 2995.32 crore has been approved by the Chief Minister. DeshGujarat
