Ahmedabad to host the World Sindhi Meet on 17-18 December(Video)

The city of Ahmedabad will host the 18th International Sindhi Sammelan on December 17-18.
Senior BJP leader L K Advani, eminent lawyer and BJP MP Ram Jethmalani, members of Hinduja family and several other prominent personalities from various other fields belonging to Sindhi community are expected to take part in this event. The convention will be held at Golden Glory Hall, Karnavati Club on the December 17 and at Sindhu Bhavan on December 18. Ahmedabad has been selected for the event by Sindhi Council of India, in collaboration with Alliance of Sindhi Association of Americas Inc (ASAAI) and other Sindhi organizations.
Amar Doulatani, national president, Sindhi Council of India, who is also chairman of the convention, said the event is aimed at rekindling the spirit of Sindhayat, the linguistic and cultural bond among the members of community that transcends into geographical distances.
Besides India, members from the USA, Europe, Africa, the Middle-East and other parts of Asia are expected to take part in the event, he said.
