I request the people of Gujarat to please go and watch the Gujarati films. The people of Gujarat have some prejudice for Gujarati cinema which prevents them to go to the theater to watch the Gujarati film. But I want to clarify that our forthcoming film ‘Motabha’ is not a typical Gujarati film. This film is technically and story wise so sound that I request the elite class urban cinema goers t watch it,” said veteran Gujarati actor Kiran Kumar.

“I was completely out of touch with Gujarati audience for last 12 years. I did several Gujarati films in past but after 12-year gap, ‘Motabha’ is my comeback film. I hope the audience of Gujarat will continue to give me love that it gave in past. I have no other Gujarati film in my mind as of now, because getting scrips as good as ‘Motabha’ is rare,” Kiran Kumar added.

“The film is about a father and his son, it is about a brothers and sister. The film delivers a message that if you behave properly with your parents, your son will behave in same manner with you in future,” said Hitu Kanodia, another lead actor of the film.

The film will release next week in eight theatres. It has been produced by D.Ramanaidu who has already produced 140 films in 13 languages.
