Rajkot police have arrested six persons involved in a sex racket in Rajkot.

Those among arrested include a suspended official of the Junagadh district collector office.

Dave, had bought the girl from Rani, who was allegedly running a brothel on the University road in the city, police said.

The girl, a native of Panihari town of West Bengal told the police that Rani had brought her to Rajkot promising a job and later sold her to Dave.

Rani told the police that she used to bring girls from other states of the country by luring them to give a job in Rajkot and then forced them into flesh trade.
