Gujarat University takes over Sahajanand college admission process
Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 8 June, 2010

The Gujarat University has taken Ahmedabad’s Sahajanand College’s admission process in its own hand.
The Vice Chancellor on Tuesday announced that the college was given 24 hours to respond, but after no response was received even after this time limit, the university’s supreme body decided to take Sahajanand college’s admission process in its own hand. The admission process will go on for two days, starting from Wednesday. Gujarat University itself will accept admission forms and carry out further process.
It should be mentioned here that Ahmedabad’s Kalupur Swaminarayan Mandir run Sahajanand college wanted to take admission form of only those students who were from English medium school. Gujarat University had objected this move, because the college had sought no permission, and there is no provision under which a college can deny somebody from Gujarati medium an admission.
