Ambaji Gabbar ropeway to shut for six days
February 21, 2026
Ambaji: The ropeway service to Gabbar Hill in Ambaji will remain suspended for six days from February 23 to February 28, 2026, due to annual maintenance work.
Authorities have taken the decision to carry out routine servicing and safety checks of the ropeway system. As a large number of pilgrims use the facility ежедневно, periodic maintenance is essential to address wear and tear and ensure passenger safety.
During the suspension period, devotees can reach Gabbar Hill by climbing the steps to offer prayers to the deity.
The ropeway service will resume regular operations from March 1, 2026, after the completion of maintenance work. DeshGujarat
