Shia-Sunni clash:10 injured,20 detained,complaint against 54

In a major clash irrupted between Shia and Sunni Muslims in north Gujarat’s Palanpur taluka’s Vasan village, at least 10 Muslims were injured. Shiyas and Sunnis have filed complaints against opposite community group at Palanpur Taluka police station. Police have detained 20 persons.
The incident of clash occurred when members of one community objected continuous loud voice of religious music from loud speaker of a mosque belonging to other community. This sparked violence between two communities in which about 100 people were involved.
Stoned were pelted, and sharp weapons were also used during clash.
Police Sub Inspector K.S.Chaudhary rushed to the village, but found the situation more serious and therefore he called local DySP and Circle PI who reached the village and detained 20 persons. Shias and Sunnis have filed police complaint against total 56 persons(27 persons in each complaint).
Eight persons injured are: Ahmadbhai, Faruk, Husainbhai, Rahimbhai, Azizhussain, Abidbhai, Abbasbhai Chaudhary, Faruk Dhuka.
