On invitation of J.Jayalalitha, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Chennai on Monday to attend her swearing-in ceremony as new Chief Minister of Tamilnadu.

63-year-old Jayalalithaa will take oath as Chief Minister on Monday at the University of Madras Centenary Building in Chennai.

Modi and Jayalalitha are in good terms. Jayalalitha had invited Modi to lunch in Chennai in 2008.

TamilNadu is a progressive state in many of the parameters at par with Gujarat. If J.JayaLalitha is really looking to take TN on path of growth and which it seems to be, then it is good that TN and Gujarat go together. There is nothing that Congress(Center) or any of its states doing in terms of development and so any state which want to make friends on the common understanding of Development, should work with Gujarat. I don’t belong to Gujarat neither to TN but I heartly appreciate Gujarat and its Common Man for his honesty, integrity, ruthless hard work, vision, administration, courage, business mind and human development initiatives.

true, me from Chhattisgarh and think the same! NaMO is for PM

  6. Amit Patel says:

Zoro ka jatka dheere se lage. Attending Jayalalitha’s swearing in ceremony by Narendra Modi is like rubbing salt on Sushma Swaraj-Gadkari and their mentor’s wounds.

  7. nallathambi says:

I am from Tamil Nadu. I went to the polling booth and used the Form 49 . Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi both are equally corrupt. But I salute Karunanidhi for his civilized courtesy and despise Madam J for her overbearing discourteousness and ego. I will reverse even the best measures taken by Karunanidhi is her attitude( her rejecting 1000 crore new LA Building) They may not be corrupt individually but they allow their party men, close friends, party loyalists and corporate sharks to plunder and become as rich as possible after all Indian democracy is a plutocracy. In Indian democracy the people are given the only option that is to change the group of political thieves but they have no option to clean up the mess. After all basically we are all corrupt to a smaller or larger extent . To clean up the mess, our political scientists have to think of a different sort of concept of democracy. An MLA spends about five crores to win an election and he invests so much expecting to make 10 times that figure by returns.

  8. Neha says:

Reshuffle Is Needed, Because Some Have Been Staying In That Post Too Long. Some Not Doing Their Duty.

Madam J.J. Please This People Do Their Job Properly.

And Please Reshuffle Those In Other District Too.

  9. Change the way MPs elect our PM. Let PM be elected directly by people of India no incompetent space filler occupy the most powerful position. This is the only way NAMO can acquire power.

  10. Swami says:

In the past, I was not a fan of JJ. She screwed up TN during her last term. She along with Sasikala autocratically did many wrong doings. She did not give enough attention that they left Chennai to other cities. People were scared to own properties as they would have been taken over by JJ/Sasikala company just like that.

Karunanidhi, on the other hand, put Chennai on the growth map. Forbes magazine rated Chennai as one of the top 3 Indian cities.

Now JJ is back…hopefully, she will not repeat the mistakes she made. If she wants a long career as CM, she needs to implement the following

    1. she needs to keep Sasikala at a distance (at least, in public),
    2. continue Metro rail work in Chennai,
    3. accept the new assembly complex
    4. invite industrial houses with red carpet to Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu.
    5. Invite Adbul Kalam to be an advisor to TN
    6. Find uninterrupted water and electricity to TN

Some unofficial/rumoured figure puts her net worth to be more than 25,000 crores (compared to 60,000 crores of Karunanidhi). So, money should not be a problem. Do some good deeds to people that elected her with outright majority. She will go in the history books as great CM.
