Ahmedabad, 26 March 2012
The department of forest, Government of Gujarat and Ahmedabad district Collectorate have jointly introduced new battery operated club cars to bring tourists to Nalsarovar lake.
Battery operated vehicles will create no noise and will provide a pollution free ride to tourists inside the sanctuary area.
For past few months, tourists are not allowed to take their private vehicles inside the sanctuary area. They need to park their cars couple of kilometers away where a parking space has been developed.
