Narendra Modi lays foundation stone of 7 projects worth Rs.72-crore, opening development works worth Rs.180-crore in tribal Dang district

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today laid foundation stones of seven projects totalling Rs.72-crore under Vanlakshmi Yojna, and other development works worth Rs.180-crore in the Dangs district as part of the state-level 64th Republic Day being held in this tribal district.
They include Higher Secondary School at Ahwa, Ambedkar Bhavan, General Hospital new complex, new Nursing School and Hostel buildings, drinking water and underground sewer lines.
Mr. Modi took also launched new Mini Bus service in the district, 108 Emergency Service and a Girls Hostel for 200 at Ahwa. He took round of the stalls at an exhibition of Dang’s development march during the last ten years.
He addressed a number of other functions in the district, notably Vivekanand Yuva Parishad and Balam Sukham Mahila Sammelan, as part of the state government’s policy of combining national festivals with decentralization of administration.
