Mehsana Civil hospital gets hemodialisis center, Bal Sanjeevani center, Nursing hostel

For the benefit of people of north Gujarat and Rajasthan, A hemodialisis center, Bal sanjeevani center and nursing hotel were opened at Mehsana civil hospital by state Finance Minister Shri Nitin Patel.
Hemodialisis center is set up at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore. It has 10 bed, and 10 dialysis machines. Bal Sanjeevani kendra will take care of poor children suffering from malnutrition.
The Minister said that a special 10-bed burns ward will be set up at Mehsana Civil hospital at a cost of Rs 1 crore.
A 50-bed mental treatment ward will also be constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore. Nitinbhai said that as per an estimate around 2,000 patients need to travel to Ahmedabad for mental treatment.
He said the state government has initiated efforts to start a medical college at Mehsana. Rs 1 crore allotment has been made to make operation of Civil hospital in Mehsana smoother.
He said the state government doesn’t only want to develop physical infrastructure but also human development too is in its priority.
Minister of state for Home Shri Rajnikant Patel , Ahmedabad based Kidney hospital’s Director Dr. H.L.Trivedi, local MPs, Collector and others attended the function.
