Ambaji mandir to be offered 1200 ft long flag

Mahesana’s Nilkanth Ambaji Bal Mitra Mandal will offer longest 1200 ft long religious flag to Ambaji mandir on Bhadarvi poonam this year.
Mandal member Suhagbhai Shukla said that earlier their mandal used to offer 51 ft long flag , but later they decided to increase the size every year. Last year they offered 375 ft long flag. Now this year, they have decided to offer the longest flag in history to Ambaji mandir.
After two months of efforts a 1200 ft long flag has been made. Presently some embroidery work is going on which will take another week or so.
425 meter textile has been used to make this flag. Suhagbhai and his father both have worked for five to six hours daily on this flag. They have spent Rs. one lakh so far.
