Vadodara to get international standard sports complex this week

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate Manjalpur Sports Complex in Vadodara on 14 February. The complex has been constructed by Vadodara Municipal Corporation(VMC).
The state-of-art outdoor sports complex project was undertaken by the civic body under Swarnim Gujarat to mark the state’s 50 years of existence. Once inaugurated, the complex will be able to host several athletic games and other outdoor sports.
The complex has a football ground, a hockey pitch, two tennis courts, a basketball court, shooting range, a 400-metre racing track and grounds for kabaddi, kho kho and others apart from a gymnasium. The complex has an astro-turf of international standards for hockey. The sports complex has also beautiful lawn and plants.
The complex will have facility to park 400 vehicles in four-storeyed parking center with lift.
Another new sports complex in Sama area is an indoor complex.
