Daman: Congress workers destroy party banner, shout slogans

Around 50 supporters of Congress party’s students wing leader Vishal Tandel today vandalized Congress party’s Daman office while protesting against party’s decision to field Ketan Patel in Lok Sabha election here. Ketan Patel’s name was declared yesterday by Congress party at party headquarters in Delhi. Tandel supporters today evening rushed to Congress office, climbed on wall and destroyed a big banner featuring the photographs of Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
