Alto becomes Maruti’s 2nd car to cross 25 lakh unit sales

Alto has become 2nd car of Maruti Suzuki India to cross 25 lakh unit sales mark in domestic market. The only other car to enter the 25 club is the Maruti 800. Maruti Suzuki India is India’s largest carmaker. Alto was launched in 2000. The company has exported over 2.85 lakh units of Alto. The Alto range is available now in eight variants with prices starting at Rs. 2.41 lakh. A 1,000-cc version Alto K10 was launched in August 2010. Alto 800 launched in October 2012 had a fresh look.
