Ahmedabad: Mahant of Ahmedabad’s Rath Yatra fame Jagannath Mandir Shri Dilipdasji Maharaj along with Jagannath Mandir’s Trustee today went to Kuresh hall area of Mirzapur in Ahmedabad to attend vegetarian Iftar party hosted by Shahpur MLA Gyasuddin Sheikh.

Additional police commissioner RR Bhagat, DCP Usha Rada, ACP Jhala, PI LB Parmar, Municipal Councillor Hasan Lala, Surendra Bakshi, Jayshri Shah, Mona Prajapati among others attended this Iftar function.

In his address, Dilipdasji Maharaj gave Eid complements fo Muslims and invited them to have darshan of upcoming Rath Yatra which is scheduled to take place on July 7.

Congress MLA Sheikh said there’s all possibility that Eid and Rath Yatra may conincide on same day this year. Let Hindus and Muslim calebeate their festival with communal harmony and contribute to Gujarat’s development march with peace.
