Mahatma Gandhi’s school in Rajkot to be converted into museum

Rajkot: Mohandas Gandhi Vidyalay, a school known as Mahatma Gandhi’s school in Rajkot will be converted to Gandhi Smruti Museum soon.
The school administration has been asked to vacate the premises and shift the students to Karansinhji government school. A meeting was held by District Education Officer with school principal and staff members in this regard and direction was issued to vacate the building by Monday.
There are complains regarding lack of cleanliness in the school and misbehave with the visitors who come to see the school in which Mahatma Gandhi had received education.
The frontal wing of the school building will be converted to museum. A curator will be appointed for maintenance and management of the building.
