Vadodara: In February this year when auctions took place for IPL players, Vadodara based cricketer Irfan Pathan’s name came under the hammer twice with base price of Rs 50 lakh but he remained unsold. Now struggling Gujarat Lions team of IPL has roped in Irfan as replacement to Dwayne Bravo who underwent surgery for his injured left hamstring and failed to recovery fully. Gujarat Lions team is at the seventh place in the eight-team IPL tournament of this year.The team needs all-rounder which Irfan is.
