Gandhinagar: Over a dozen former MLA/MP participated in the meeting convened by Leader of Opposition Shankersinh Vaghela held here today.

Apart from Vaghela, no other MLA participated in the meet not even his MLA son Mahendrasinh Vaghela, media convener of Vaghela Nikhil Desai said adding that a total of around 4000 people attended the meet and filled up the information form given to them for our records.

Former MP Navinchandra Ravani, Fromer MlA’s Babu M Shah, Kirit Patel, Jodhaji Thakor, Parbat Jadeja, Joruba Chauhan, Navin Thakre, Bhavsinh Rathod, Narpatsinh, C J Chavda were among fomer MP/MLA’s who attended the meet held at the auditorium at Civil Hospital premises here, Desai informed.

A former mayor from Vadodara and other such personalities also participated in the meet which was also attended by several sitting and former office bearers of various local bodies.

Desai claimed that no MLA was invited for the meeting.
