Congress backed PAAS leader Hardik Patel, who has given various ‘strange’ statements during and after Gujarat assembly polls, today again made one such bizarre statement by claiming that BJP would win the polls in Gujarat by tampering the EVMs and at the same time it will willingly loose Himachal polls so that no one raise questions (about the results).

Hardik on his account on micro blogging site twitter today wrote, ‘For BJP defeat in Gujarat would mean its complete downfall. BJP will win Gujarat polls by tampering with EVMs but will loose Himachal Pradesh so that no one raise question (about the results).’

Earlier he had tweeted, ‘BJP was going to do big tempering in EVMs on Saturday and Sunday nights, The party was going to loose. If it did not tamper with EVMs it would get only 82 seats.’

Later talking to newsmen here that despite use of EVMs if the counting takes place after so many days it would have been better to use ballot papers. ‘The only differentiation was that about saving the time but that purpose has been defeated,’ he said.

To a question he said that if tampering of EVMs would not be done then BJP would loose for sure. He claimed that his agitation for reservation, farmers issues and employment would continue even if Congress came to power in Gujarat.

He also congratulated Rahul Gandhi for taking the rein of Congress party formally today.
