Gandhinagar: A Lok Sabha MP from Gujarat Shankarbhai Vegad told the Rajya Sabha that cow urine keeps him health at the age of 76.

Vegad, participating in a two-hour discussion on the protection of cows told Rajya Sabha that cow urine had also cured his father of cancer.

Vegad said he drinks cow urine for last ten years by mixing 10 ml urine in one litre lukewarm water and this is the only thing he consumers till afternoon.

He said he has no ailments and he is living example.

He said cow urine could treat first or second stage cancer and he witnessed it himself after his father was cured.

Vegad said this while discussing a Bill moved by the BJP’s Subramanian Swamy to ensure a stable population of cows in the country. Swamy withdrew the Bill after Union Agriculture Minister ensured government’s commitment to the protection of cows.
