John Abraham participates in shooting of Raw in Junagadh, Pakistan like look given to shooting-locations

Junagadh:

The shooting of Jackie Shroff- John Abraham starer spy thriller film titled Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW) was today done in Junagadh city where Danapeeth area was given the look of Pakistan for it.

The shooting of the film in various parts of Gujarat including Vadodara, Anand and Rajkot has already taken place.

Today shooting of various scenes were done in Danapeeth and circle crossing area in the city. Looking at the large crowd assembled to see a glimpse of Abraham, tight security arrangement for shooting here has been made by police.

Notably the film being produced by producer Bunty Walia with director Robbie Grewal has a two month shooting schedule and likely to end by July or August. It is to hit the cinemas by this year end.

Earlier the MS university in Vadodara had refused to allow its shooting in its premises in June due to ongoing admission process at that time.

Permission for shooting in the Premanand hall and a room was sought and a committee was formed to take a call on it but finally was decided that due to the dates coinciding with the admission process timings, permission for the same couldn’t be given as it would adversely affect the educational work.

The film was later shot in Vadodara including the new Airport and Nyay Mandir area. Jackie Shroff playing the role of an old man in the movie participated in the shooting there. The film was shot at some locations in Anand district in central Gujarat and Gondal in Rajkot district of Saurashtra region.

It also has shooting locations based in Delhi and Kashmir.
