5 killed in road mishap in Central Gujarat

Five people of minority community including the driver of an auto-rickshaw were killed in a road mishap in Mahudha police station area of Gujarat today amid rainy weather.
Police said that a speeding truck collided head on with an auto rickshaw near Ramnamwada on Mahudha-Kathlal road. Five people including the driver and 4 passengers in the auto-rickshaw died in the incident. The rickshaw was also badly damaged in the accident. The truck first overtook a vehicle and then suddenly it collided with the rickshaw.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Nazir Chauhan (38), Irshad Chauhan (31), Salimbhai Ibrahimbhai (58) and his son Yasin Ibrahimbhai (30) and the driver Farukhbhai Maksoodbhai (38). All were resident of Ramnamwada.
