ACB nabs district Panchayat clerk taking bribe of Rs 78000 from contractor

Bhuj: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed red handed a senior clerk of the irrigation department in the district Panchyat here today taking a bribe of Rs 78000/- for payment of the final bill of a contractor.
Assistant Director ACB Gambhirsinh Padheriya said that senior clerk Sanjay B Mota was nabbed from his office. He had sought 3% of the total final bill from the contractor who had dug three ponds.
On his secret complaint a trap was laid by the ACB today and he was nabbed red handed.
