24 hours,6 road accidents,13 dead,over 73 injured in Gujarat

12 persons were killed and over 41 injured in four different accidents in Gujarat on Friday.
A tractor turned turtle near Surat district’s Kholvad village killed five tribals and injured seven. All of them were from Maharashtra.They were on route to sugarcane farms. According to Kamrej Police those who died include two women and two children.
In Bhavnagar district Brahmani Travel’s bus turned turtle on Keriya’s Dhal(slope). Bus was going from Surat to Bhavnagar. Over 30 passengers were injured in this accident. Victims were taken to Valabhipur referral hospital and Bhavnagar Civil hospital. Five among those injured were in critical condition. In another incident of accident in the same district a jeep rammed into a truck parked on state highway’s road side and killed two persons and two buffaloes.
On Ahmedabad district’s Dhandhuka highway, 110 Kms from Ahmedabad, a Wagon R car rammed into religious group of people who were walking on roadside towards Sarangpur Hanuman temple from Ahmedabad. One person was dead on the spot while 25 others were taken to Ahmedabad’s V.S. hospital and Bapunagar’s Kakadia hospital. Two of them were seriously injured.
In Friday afternoon at around 1.00 pm another accident happened on the highway near Central Gujarat’s Dabhoi Taluka’s Dharampuri village. Modipara family from Rajkot was on route to Rajpipla caught in an accident with truck here. Three members of the family including parents and a child were dead while another child survived.
On Jamnagar-Dhoraji route Shivshakti Travel’s bus turned turtle near Danidhar patiya at around 2.00 in the afternoon in which two were dead and 10 injured.
