Just 5 Minutes before Ahmededabad blasts, Delhi based India TV news channel’s office had received this email that said in it’s one paragraph:

“So wait!………. Await now………! Wait only for five minutes from now! … Wait for the Mujahideen and Fidayeen of Islam and stop them if you can – who will make you feel the terror of Jihad. Feel the havoc cast into your hearts by Allah, the Almighty, face His dreadful Punishment, and suffer the results of fighting the Muslims and the Mujahideen. Await the anguish, agony, sorrow and pain. Await, only for 5 minutes, to feel the fear of death.”

The email was sent by someone claiming to be connected to a little-known group called the ‘Indian Mujahideen’. The email address that sent the message was created 10 minutes before it was sent.

Open wireless network of Mumbai based American expatriate Kenneth Haywood was used to send an email that took responsibility for a bomb blast that killed over 50 people.

Police believe someone in the building may have used Haywood’s Wi-Fi internet connection to send the terror email. There were no records at the building’s security post recording who entered the complex at the time the email was sent.

The so-called Indian Mujahideen, which has claimed responsibility for these incidents, first made its appearance after the Mumbai court judgment last year awarding severe sentences in the Mumbai blasts of March 12, 1993 case.
