Tourism: “Rajkot Darshan” Sunday bus service launched

‘Rajkot Darshan’, a Sunday bus service for tourists visiting the city of Rajkot has been launched today.

‘Rajkot Darshan’ bus operates on Sundays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on 45 kms long route that includes stoppages at more than 15 places of tourist interests in and around Rajkot. Rs. 50 ticket price is fixed for the whole route. As of now two buses are allotted for ‘Rajkot Darshan’.

Rajkot Darshan bus departs from Trikon Bag area covering Alfred High school, Jubilee garden, Rajkumar college, Ramkrishna high school, Dalls museum, Racecourse, Swaminarayan Mandir, University, Arsh vidyamandir, Aaji dam, Pradyuman park(Lalpari lake), Rashtriya shala(Gandhian national school), Ramnathpara smashan(Hindu cremation place), Ashapura mandir(Goddess Ashapura’s temple) and Kabagandhi’s dehlo(Gandhiji’s old style ethnic Gujarati architecture house).

Time allotted for each tourist place:10 minutes time will be allotted for Alfred high school, 30 minutes for Jubilee garden, 5 minutes for Jam tower, 20 minutes for Rajkumar college, 5 minutes for Rashtriya shala, 15 minutes for Ramkrishna ashram, 30 minutes for Dalls museum, 15 minutes for Swaminarayana, 20 minutes for Arsh vidyamandir and University, 40 minutes for Aaji dam, 20 minutes for Pradyuman park, 15 minutes for Smashan, Five minutes for Ashapura temple and 10 minutes for Kaba Gandhi’s dehlu.
