Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated his dream project Kankaria Lakefront on December 25th, 2008. Medieval era’s Kankaria lake is situated in eastern part of the old city. The lake falls under Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s Maninagar constituency.
