Surat, 2 February, 2011

He is a fighter. He stalled entire railway traffic on busy Mumabi-Surat railway line for hours because Railway department didn’t listen to his demands about several pending works in his constituency area. Now he is planning to march to Delhi with thousands of people to demand air connectivity.
We are talking about Navsari(Surat) MP C.R.Patil who is now planning to take about 5000 people of Surat to Delhi in as many as 100 buses on 21 February or around that date.
The agenda is to make a loud demand for better air connectivity in Surat, and kick starting an agitation to achieve it.
According to Patil, the people of Surat, and the Government of Gujarat have made every kind of effort to demand air connectivity, but it seems those in power would understand only the language of agitation.
Patil said, those Surtis participating in march to parliament agitation will be taken in buses first to Shrinathji mandir for darshan and then to Delhi.
