Anna Hazare supportes stop Shatabdi, Navjivan express at Nadiad, Surat

Ahmedabad-Mumbai Shatabdi Express train was today stopped by Anna Hazare’s supporters led by Swami Nityananda.
A group of protestors protesting against Anna Hazare’s arrest in New Delhi today gathered on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai railway track and stopped Shatabdi Express which is the costliest train on this busy route.
In another incident of protest, a group of Anna Hazare supporters stopped Navjivan Express in Surat protesting his arrest by the central government.
In Ahmedabad UVA group led the protest and blocked the traffic at city’s Income Tax cross road junction in the morning and also in the afternoon.
The main protest in Gujarat is going on outside the Town hall in Ahmedabad where relay fast is going on with participation of 11 persons each day. Add to this one veteran labour union leader will go on hunger strike for indefinite period.
A signature campaign is on at the protest site with participation of common people.
Meanwhile rallies were organized in Junagadh, Kaalol, Bhuj, Vapi, Vadodara, Ugamedi and Bhavnagar in support of Anna Hazare. In Bhavngar, busy diamond market observed strike in support of Anna Hazare’s movement against corruption.
