About 150 youth protestors protesting against Anna Hazare’s arrest and demanding Jan Lokpal were held today in Ahmedabad. They were arrested when they were trying to block traffic at city’s busy Income Tax junction.

Two buses of police took the protestors to Shahibag Police stadium.

The same group had jammed the traffic at around noon at same place today. However their scheduled programme of traffic jam couldn’t materialize as police immediately detained them.

According to Manishbhai, an activist of UVA group, they are planning to announce one-day strike in colleges of Ahmedabad on Wednesday protesting against Anna’s arrest.
