Bhavnagar, 15 September, 2011
There has been 90.16% rainfall of the season so far in Amreli district’s Savarkundla taluka, but the locals are so worried about any more rainfall that they have organized a tour to Dwarka to request Lord Dwarkadhish to stop the rain.
Former MLA Dhirubhai Dudhwala has organized this tour. He has arranged five buses that will proceed from Savarkundla on 19th of this month.
The tour will be exclusively for women.
Motive behind this tour is to pray the Lord to rescue the locals from any more rain spell so that crops can be saved in their farms.
