Rajkot gets local city bus service back after long interval

At last the city of Rajkot has got a local bus service back after a long interval. Finance minister and local MLA Vajubhai Vala flagged off the new city bus service and promised that in future this service will not be allowed to stop again for any reason.
Private player VITCOS has put 14 buses on roads initially. As per the contract sign with the civic body, VITCOS company’s ultimate plan is to put 75 buses on road covering 56 routes. Also on card is activation of BRTS route with 6 buses to start with.
Private player VITCOS will run city buses between 6.00 am and 10 pm with minimum fare of Rs 4.
