Gujarat’s closest fishing port to Pakistan gets bullet-proof speed boat for coastal security

After long wait, Gujarat’s Jakhau port has received a bullet proof 12 tone speed boat for security purpose. This is fourth speed boat that border district of Kutch has received from Goa ship yart for coastal security purpose.
Every time Gujarati fishermen are arrested by the Pakistan in sea, you hear a name of Jakhau port which is Gujarat’s closest fishing port to Pakistan. Most of the time, Gujarati fishermen are kidnapped in the sea closer to Jakhau.
According to Captain Kavindra Singh, this boat will move at the speed of 35 nautical mile per hour. It is equipped with a jet pump. It can house 20 jawans at a time. A 13 meter long and 3.65 meter wide bullet-proof boat has echo sounder, radar system, GPS system.
