Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today attacked centre on the issue of OBC reservation and cow protection.
Speaking at Rangpur village of Mansa taluka on the occasion of patotsav in Sidhdheshwari mata mandir, Shri Modi said that in entire country only Gujarat has stringent bovine protection law, but to ensure similar law at national level, and in regard to cow beef transportation in railway, the people would have to pressurize the central government.
Chief Minister told those present in the function that central government had looted their 4.5% reservation giving it away to minorities.
“They looted your 4.5% reservation out of 27% before the election. I am here to caution you that your right has been looted. They have looted the future of our children, and they need to be shown red eyes for this,” Shri Modi said.
It should be mentioned here that Gandhinagar district’s Mansa is soon going to witness an assembly by-election. Last sitting BJP MLA Mangaldas Patel died in November last year due to heart attack. A new MLA will have to be elected before 11th of May this year.
