According to district Congress President Dharmendrasinh(Hakubha) Jadeja and Congress Vice President MK Baloch, the works of over bridge and service roads are yet to be completed, and until that toll tax can not be implemented. They said while Bamanbor chokdi-Ahmedabad highway has two toll tax posts covering 214 km distance and they charge Rs 40, on the other side on 131 km long Khambhalia-Rajkot route they charge Rs 90! They said while private sector develops the road, the Gujarat govt takes 20% income of toll tax. Instead Gujarat govt should stop taking 20% and toll tax should be reduced in that proportion.
