Packaged drinking water units sealed in Ahmedabad

Teams of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) have sealed two units of packaged drinking water.
Both units were found producing packaged drinking water without health license, ISI or BIS certification.
Owners of these units are Hiteshbhai Jayantibhai Patel and Umeshbhai Gunvatlal Thakkar. While Hiteshbhai’s sealed firm is situated at 113 Mahalakshmi shopping center in Vatava, Umeshbhai’s firm is in Radhika shopping center in Vatava.
The AMC has issued 64 notices to those dumping garbage on roads and has recovered fine of Rs 1,19,300 during 21 February to 27 February.
