Bollywood film director and son of Gujarat, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was on brief visit to Kutch to select locations to shoot his next film here.
After extensive tour of Kutch in search of locations, Bhansali rested at Bhuj Swaminarayan mandir and participated in evening aarti there.
Reports from Mumbai suggest that Bhansali’s next film will be a musical romantic saga, an adaption of Shakspear’s Romeo Juliet. The film may feature Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor as lead pair. Pre-production of this film could begin somewhere around April this year.
In past, Bhansali had selected couple of locations in Kutch, like Mandvi palace and Bhuj chhatardis to shoot his most successful film – Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
