High voting in Mansa by-poll, counting on 21st of March
March 18, 2012
Gandhinagar, 18 March 2012
Though exact figure of voting is yet to arrive, it is for now estimated that Mansa by-poll has witnessed 70-80% voting today.
Mansa is typically a high polling area.
As it is a by-poll, the voting is obviously higher.
As both parties have attempted best to bring maximum number of committed voters to polling booths, the voting has gone little more higher.
The voting was peaceful and both the BJP and the Congress have claimed to win this by-election, which is otherwise insignificant but the only major election before the general election of Gujarat assembly scheduled in December this year.
Counting of votes will take place on 21st of March. The election will be completed before 25th of March.
