Five lakh leaflets, DJ system, short films, long route:Gujarat Congress announces another statewide yatra

After completing couple of yatras in past few months, Gujarat Congress today announced another yatra programme in the state.

The latest yatra is titled as ‘Jan sampark parivartan yatra’. It will begin on 10 April and complete on 25 April. The yatra would cover Municipal Corporation areas of Jamnagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar and 159 municipality areas in 25 districts.

As many as five lakh leaflets with tagline of ‘Vanche Gujarat, vichare Gujarat’ will be distributed on the route. The party has produced several short films also, which will be showcased on the route of yatra. To attract common people, yatra will have dhol, nagara, DJ set and music system. 8 tableau will also be a part of this yatra.

Gujarat Congress Chief Arjun Modhwadia will led the yatra for 9 days, opposition leader Shaktisinh Gohil for 11 days, Shankersinh Vaghela 11 days, Narhari Amin 8 days, Bharatsinh Solanki 5 days, Siddharth Patel 6 days, Tushar Chaudhary 9 days, and Dinsha Patel will led the yatra for 4 days.

In total the yatra will host 180 public meetings.

Proposed yatra will highlight the issues like corruption, law and order situation, price rise, privatization of education among others.
