Ankit Trivedi to receive ‘Yuva Gaurav Puraskar’ of Gujarat govt

Ahmedabad, 10 April, 2012
Ankit Trivedi, one of the most well-known contemporary Gujarati young poets, will receive Gujarat government’s ‘Yuva Gaurav Puraskar’ on Thursday, 12th of April, 2012 in Ahmedabad’s Thakorbhai Desai hall.
Minister Shri Fakirbhai Vaghela will present the award in presence of local MLA and city BJP President Rakesh Shah and Mayor of Ahmedabad Shri Asit Vora.
On this occasion, veteran Gujarati poet Shri Suresh Dalal will speak on Ankit’s contribution to Gujarati literature.
Shri Harshad Trivedi, Mahamatra of Gujarat Sahitya Academy, Shri Bhagyesh Jha, Secretary of Cultural department, Government of Gujarat will also grace the occasion and deliver address.
The award was presented to Shri Anil Chavda in 2012, Haradwar Goswami in 2009, Dhvanil Parekh in 2008 and Saumya Joshi in 2007.
