It’s heavily cloudy, and the sun is just not visible today, there has been light shower, witnessed thrice since midnight, and this is not the situation only in Ahmedabad, but it is the story of most of the parts of the state today.
If you ask local weather office, they would say ‘western disturbances’ responsible for this. They always say so. In fact most of the time, when you inquire about changing weather, most probably you would get the answer like ‘western disturbances’ or ‘upper air cyclonic circulation’.
And many times, it seems, if you know these two words, you too can become a weather office spokesperson in Gujarat.
Looking at the satellite pictures, it seems the cloudy, and somewhat rainy atmosphere will continue for at least day or two.
Normally in Gujarat, monsoon begins around 15th of June, but this is 20th April, when scorching sun and extreme heat is expected.
It is therefore a great surprise and many of the people are shocked seeing arrival of rain at this time of the year!
And you ask the local weather office and they would say ‘western disturbances’ responsible.
But what is ‘western disturbances’?
Well, that no body asks, and no body replies!
