Ahmedabad, 20 June, 2012
On the occasion of International Music Day Alliance Française d’Ahmedabad will organize live Jazz concert of French group NOJAZZ in Amdavad’s Toan hall on Saturday, 23 June 2012 at 8.30 pm.
The Jazz concert is open to all and entry is free on first come first served basis.
The organizers have requested to occupy seats by 8 pm.
A funky, rocking Parisian electro-jazz five-piece dance band about whom Le Monde, the most “intellectual” of the city of light’s daily papers, questioned: “Is NoJazz the future of Jazz?”
Indeed this group is set to re-define the genre with its syncopated, danceable rhythms, words, modalities and melodies from around the world.
It all began in 2000, with the meeting of five musicians ready for anything, proud of their multiple respective experiences but determined to explore new musical territories.
