Ahmedabad, 22 June 2012
It seems, no one can skip Modi land without clearing his stand on Modi. The latest were two popular bollywood stars Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan. They were in Ahmedabad to interact with media persons about their soon-to-be-released film Bol Bachchan, and couple of questions asked to them were about their opinion on Gujarat’s development and Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
When asked about this, Ajay Devgan who has time and again praised Narendra Modi’s leadership and has also invested money in Gujarat based solar plant said, “I don’t discuss politics much, but Gujarat has progressed very well. Modi sir is correct and I think if the nation too progresses in same way as Gujarat has progressed that would be good.”
Then it was Abhishek Bachchan’s turn, and he said, “I don’t know much about politics, but whatever Modi sir has done for Gujarat is very good, and you all can witness the progress of Gujarat. My father is tourism ambassador of Gujarat, and he said that tourism has developed here. So whoever will do good for the country, we will support them only obviously.”
But media persons didn’t leave the subject here. They further asked Abhishek Bachchan whether he would like to see Narendra Modi doing Gujarat with India? And Abhishek delivered safe reply to this straight question, “I don’t know much about politics therefore I can’t reply this question.”
