Japanese, Indian corporates to be part of CM’s delegation to Japan

According to the details available from a government official in Gandhinagar, the Gujarat delegation led by Chief Minister Narendra Modi will have meetings with Japanese Prime Minister, deputy Prime Minister, Trade minister, Foreign affairs minister and officials from Japan External Trade Organization(JETRO) during five days long Japan visit starting from 22 July.
Modi’s delegation will also include officials of Japanese companies posted in India, like Eiji Sasaki, General Manager of Mizuho bank; Ichiro Shimizu, Chairman of Itochu India among others.
Reliance Industries Vice-President Parimal Nathwani, Suzlon Group Chairman Tulsi Tanti, Torrent Chairman Sudhir Mehta, Bharat Forge ED Sunil Chaturvedi, Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation CEO Amitabh Kant, Jubilant Life Science Co-Chairman Hari Bhartia, Himalaya International Chairman Manmohan Malik, Indian Steel Corporation MD Umesh Sahara, CII-Gujarat Chairman Piyush Shah,Tata Chemicals President Arun Pasu, Executive VP of L&T Sunil Pandey, Mahindra Goup company’s MD Harsh Kumar will also accompany Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi during the five-day trip to Japan beginning from July 22.
Shri Modi’s personal staff, key government officials, A pair of camera person and senior reporter of Etv Gujarati and Tv9 Gujarati will also join the tour.
This is Shri Modi’s second visit to Japan.
