Narendra Modi turns his Twitter profile photo into black in protest

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today turned his profile picture on Twitter black.
Shri Modi wrote, “as a common man, I join the protest against crackdown on freedom of speech! Have changed my DP(display picture). ‘Sabko sanmati de bhagwan.’
It should be mentioned here that many on Twitter(including DeshGujarat) turned their profile picture black since Thursday morning to protest against the crackdown by the central government on various Twitter accounts including the parody Twitter account PM0India (it’s zero) which it similar to Prim Minister’s official Twitter handle PMOIndia.
The crackdown also impacted visibility of other popular Twitter accounts including the account of journalist Kanchan Gupta, journalist Shiv Aroor, Dr Pravin Togadia, Sanghparivar.org among others.
