Aadesh Pal files defamation case against Narhari Amin

Gujarat University Vice Chancellor Aadesh Pal has filed defamation case against Gujarat Congress leader and Gujarat University Syndicate member Narhari Amin in Ahmedabad Metro court.
The Metro court in Ahmedabad will hold an inquiry into the allegations leveled by Aadesh Pal under section 202 before passing any order on summoning Amin.
Section 202 of the CrPC empowers the court to hold inquiry for the purpose of deciding whether or not there is sufficient ground for proceeding in a complaint.
Further hearing in this case will be held on 1st December.
Pal had earlier also filed defamation case against Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia.
Modhwadia had in his recent letter to Chief Minister Narendra Modi made personal allegations against Pal. This letter was also sent to the media for publication.
