GIFT city to witness lots of construction over the next few years

Come 10 January, the Gujarat Chief Minister will inaugurate the two tallest buildings in Gujarat at the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT city) near Gandhinagar(Pictures of new towers)
A pair of two 28 storey towers has been constructed by L&T and ANC Dubai. They are commercial buildings constructed in a record one and half years time. 60% space in both these towers has already been booked.
R.K. Jha, Director, Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Co. Ltd told DeshGujarat that two towers are part of the domestic finance zone of the GIFT city.
He said that companies will start moving into both 122-meter high towers from April this year.

Next on the cards is the construction of the exhibition/convention center which is all set to start from 10 January.

The other buildings that are to be constructed in near future are two to three residential towers, one commercial tower in the SEZ area and other commercial tower in the non-SEZ area of GIFT city, Narsee Monjee school building and Fortis hospital building.
