Three highway broadening works kicked off

The broadening works of the Adipur-Mundra highway, Bhuj-Anjar highway and Bhachau-Rapar highway were kicked off by the state R&B minister on Sunday in Kutch district.
A five meter wide Adipur-Mundra highway will be converted to 10 meter, while Bhuj-Anjar and Bhachau-Rapar both 7-meter wide highways will be converted to 10 meter status. Bhuj-Anjar highway work will involve a cost of Rs 40.95 crore, while the Bhachau-Rapar highway will be broadened at a cost of Rs 37.80 crore. In total the three works of road developments are worth Rs 120 crore.
The minister also inaugurated an Emergency response centre at Gandhidham. Rs 4 crore centre will be equipped with 27 different types of other vehicles.
