-4.5 intensity tremor was felt today in Kutch district of Gujarat in Bhachau/Rapar belt. No casualty or damage is reported.

Some prominent TV channels are claiming to have the details of new team of BJP President Rajnath Singh. According to the reports, Rajnath may announce his new top team today evening or tomorrow morning. Amit Shah is new General Secretary of the party along with Varun Gandhi, Uma Bharti, Prabhat Jha, while Narendra Modi has been included in party’s parliamentary board. Modi was dropped from national parliamentary board with Arun Jaitley in 2006 when Rajnath Singh became party president. Now Rajnath is again party president, and Modi’s inclusion is being talked about.

-Saurashtra’s Amreli town is observing total stike on water shortage issue today. The strike call has been given by Lok hit rakshak samiti. Amreli is represented by Congress MLA in Gujarat Assembly.
